Our Flock
American Buff
Our original flock consisted of only this breed of gentle, buff-colored geese. They are excellent foragers with a calm temperament, and they make wonderful mothers. We currently have 3 female American Buffs in our flock, and they are our go-to choice for helping raise goslings that have been incubated indoors. They accept and raise the young goslings as their own. American Buff geese produce large white eggs, usually laying an average of 30 eggs per year. The sweet personality of this breed makes them a great choice for small farms and families.
French Toulouse
Known for their large size and calm demeanor, our French Toulouse geese are excellent grazers and produce very large, white eggs. While egg production can vary for each individual bird, they are generally very good producers, averaging 30-40 eggs per year. They add a classic, elegant look to the flock with their predominantly gray bodies with white-edged back/flank feathers and a white rump.
Embden
Our newest additions to the flock, Embden geese are very large, hardy birds with bright white feathers that make them easy to spot around the farm. This breed is often used for meat because of their large size and fast growth-rate. Egg production in Embden geese falls in the average range of about 30 eggs per year. They are good foragers and bring a classic “farm goose” presence to our flock.
All of our geese are raised on fresh pasture with plenty of room to roam, access to fresh water daily and a pond for swimming. We supplement their diet with grain pellets, especially in the winter time when grass is scarce.
Whether you're looking for hatching eggs, future layers, or backyard companions, we take pride in raising healthy, well-cared-for geese.
